Privacy policy

This site belongs to X-GO Car Rental, Al Qusour Area, Ghazal Square, Damascus, Syria. X-GO Car Rental is responsible for the information you send through it, and alone decides how it is used.

The site runs on the Caros platform, which stores and processes this information on behalf of X-GO Car Rental and on its instructions only, and uses it for nothing else.

When you send a request or a message from this site, we keep what you write in it:

• Your name and phone number, and your email if you give one.
• The car you are asking about, and your message if you add one.
• Your booking dates, pickup and return places and times, and the extras you chose.
• Your door’s location on the map, if you pin it for delivery or collection.

• A total count of views for each car, with no identity attached.
• Your network address (IP), only to block spam. It is deleted automatically and never stored with your request.
• Temporary technical logs at the hosting provider, to run and protect the site.

Kept in your own browser, not with us: your language and theme choice, and your booking numbers so you can follow them on the same device.

We use no advertising trackers, and we never sell your information.

• To answer your question and send you the price and details.
• To confirm your booking, and arrange the car’s pickup and return.
• To contact you about your request only.

When you tap a WhatsApp button, we record that someone asked about this car, without your name or number. The conversation then opens in WhatsApp, and what you write there is governed by WhatsApp’s policy.

• X-GO Car Rental and its team only.
• The Caros platform and the technical providers it relies on (hosting and storage), only as far as running the site requires.
• No other business on the platform sees it.
• We may disclose it when a competent authority requires it by law.

We keep your request for as long as it is needed to serve you and for X-GO Car Rental’s records, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

You may see your information, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact X-GO Car Rental:

The map may be loaded from an outside map service, the directions button opens Google Maps, and the social buttons open their own sites. Each has its own policy.

When you pin your location on the map, it is sent to OpenStreetMap to suggest the written address. Your device’s current location is asked for only if you tap “My location”.

We may update this policy; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
